The charm of the Alpbach Lodge is the top location, calm but yet central, situated on a view point overlooking the whole valley of Alpbach. The altitude of the Lodge is 1100 meters above sea level. The village center can be reached within three minutes by car or via a soothing walk of ten minutes. The valley station of the famous ski resort "Skijuwel Alpbach Wildschönau" is 1 km far.

Alpbach is a rural traditional village with great history. In this idyllic place, guests can experience the real tyrollean spirit. The village and the inhabitants have preserved their rural nativeness over generations. The proudly cherished speciality of Alpbach are the wooden farm houses, in summer finely decorated with flowers all over. Alpbach offers a good infrastructure, there are shops, bars, fine restaurants, a gas station an plenty of leisure facilities. 

The access to Apbach is either by car or by public transport quite easy. The highway A12 is 10 km far (Departure Kramsach) so as the train station. From Brixlegg busses drive to Alpbach in one hour intervals. The distances to the nearest cities are:

Munich  - Alpbach: 128 km (1 hour 15 min by car)

Kitzbühel - Alpbach: 57 km (45 min by car)
